We make products that we are happy to use in our own home.
Beardy Goodness started organically in a small home in Wisconsin. Long and sometimes unruly beards are a part of our everyday life. So, we created a balm that works well and smells even better. We know you’ll love this because we made it for our family, and just decided to sell it to yours, too!
We source the kinds of quality ingredients you need to keep your beard looking top shelf, all day - but making it oh so soft to the touch! Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions regarding our products.
Q: Will Beard Balm Help Growth?
A: Beard balms and oils can definitely aid in your beard getting longer. The idea isn't to spur the growth through chemical means. Instead, we strengthen the follicles through conditioning and helping them be strong on their own accord.
Q: What Beard Balm Smells Good?
A: Wow! You're really coming outta the gate strong on that one. Our most popular scent is the Mao's Mountain Man. It's a woodsy scent that combines cedarwood, frankincense, and balsam fir. It's the type of smell you'd expect from a rugged woodsman. We offer a variety of different scents, including an unscented for those people who like to go low key. Hunters - looking at you!
Q: How Does Beard Balm Work?
A: When you wash your beard with a shampoo, it strips oils out of your follices. This is great to get rid of the oils that are damaging to your beard, but it's not ideal for your beard to have no oils in it. What a beard balm does is replenish the good oils. The beeswax locks everything in and makes sure the oils can do their job. That's why beard balm is good - it helps from keeping your beard from getting damaged by ensuring it's strong enough to keep growin without getting split ends.
Q: Which Beard Balm is Best?
A: Different beard balms can work differently for different people. We all have differing chemistry. That being said, all the products at Beardy Goodness have been made with as close to universal application as possible. We take great care in selecting our base ingredients to make sure that you have a great experience
Q: Where Can I Buy Beard Balm?
A: You can buy beard balms in lots of big retail stores these days. Online retailers have them, too. With so many choices, how do you know which beard balm brand you can trust? It's wise to ask questions and get a good understanding of what you'll be putting on your face. After all - it's your face we're talking about here. Be sure that you have confidence in your products.
Q: How Often Will I Have to Purchase My Balms/Oils?
A: That depends on how long your facial hair is, how often you apply it, and how much you like to use. If you've seized the means of a beardy beard and have to use a quarter-sized amount every single day, a 1oz tin will probably last around a month or so.
Q: What's the Shelf-Life of Your Products?
A: We estimate that your products will be in excellent shape for at least a year. If you ordered your product in the summer months, and it gets a little melted during transit, just pop that bad boy in the fridge for an hour or so and it'll be back on track!
Q: Can Oils and Balms Be Used Together?
A: For sure! If your beard is feeling a little dry and in need of some extra love, it's totally fine to use the oils and balms together. Extra conditioning never hurt anyone!
Q: What's the Recommended Usage Schedule?
A: We suggest using the oils after you shower. The damp beard helps the carrier oils do their thing. Balms are good if you need some shaping for your beard.
Q: Are These Products All Natural?
A: Absolutely! we take really good care to source quality materials. We buy beeswax from a trustworthy farmer, filter it ourselves, and then add more quality natural ingredients to make sure your beard and face are going to be in the best shape possible. As we say - we love your beard as much as you do!
Q: What’s the Difference Between Essential Oils and Fragrance Oils?
A: Essential oils are derived from natural sources like trees and plants. Fragrance oils are synthesized in a lab somewhere. While fragrance oils are typically safe for use in oils and balms, we tend to put our trust in Mother Nature and less so in someone wearing a lab coat.
Q: Do Your Balms Do Well in Hair?
A: We've actually tested this out, and we had really good results with it. It's lighter and less greasy than a pomade. You won't have to worry about your hair being too hard or oily. Really, the only thing you have to consider is which scent do you prefer to choose.
